What is Qigong?
氣功是甚麼?

Shaolin Qigong combines traditional Qigong with Shaolin kung fu to create an active practice that involves both movement and breathing techniques. By releasing negative energy and reducing stress, it helps to increase positive energy and improve the mind-body connection.
氣功是中國傳統的身心鍛煉、保健、養生、祛病的方法,通過調整呼吸、身體活動和意識(調息、調身,調心),達至強身健體、防病治病、健身延年、開發潛能。

Qigong is a traditional Chinese practice that promotes good health and healing. In today's sedentary, screen-filled life, it offers a way to strengthen internal and external energy(‘Qi’ or ‘Chi’) , improve the nervous and circulatory systems, and promote calm and focus. Shaolin Qigong combines movement and breathing techniques from both traditional Qigong and Shaolin kung fu, with the aim of living a fulfilled life that allows us to enjoy the present and future. The practice of Qigong empowers the body and mind, maximizing the enjoyment of life. Tai Chi is a full-body exercise that utilizes aerobic movements and abdominal breathing. Through the spiral movements, the body achieves a harmonious coordination between firmness and softness, resulting in fluid and continuous movements that are agile and flexible. Practicing Tai Chi can enhance balance, leg strength, cardiovascular endurance, pulse rate, muscle flexibility, immune system response, and improve sleep quality. During practice, one can experience and deepen their natural coordination of body, breath, and consciousness. The combination of motion and stillness creates a heightened sense of control over the body, leading to a feeling of joy and happiness, and even a meditative state. Tai Chi is an effective exercise for people of all ages.
少林氣功,是以少林功法為基礎結合傳統氣功的特點,能更好的增強人體機能,提高免疫力,讓身體和呼吸更加強而有力,在不增加心臟壓力的條件下增加血液循環,同時釋放身體中的負能量。內氣與外力通過呼吸協調配合使之達到更高級別的全身一體化運動。一動無有不動,一靜百骸皆靜,靜中蓄動,動中入靜。太極拳是一種用腹式呼吸,帶氧的全身運動。通過螺旋纏絲的運動方式,讓全身協調一致,動作沉穩輕柔、剛柔並濟、行雲流水、連綿不斷,發勁時鬆活彈抖。練太極拳能提高平衡力、腿部力量、心血管耐力、脈搏率、肌肉靈活度、免疫系統反應,睡眠質素。同時在練習過程中能體會和加深對身體、呼吸,意識的自然協調。這種內在深度的動與靜的結合,使人產生對身體的高度掌控感,從而產生愉悅感,幸福感。讓人在動中入定!對各年齡層的人來說,太極拳都是一種非常有效的健身方式
